Riichi Nomi NYC
Riichi Nomi NYC is a Riichi mahjong club founded in the Greater New York City Area during 2020.[1]
Tournaments
Riichi Nomi Open 2023
On June 17-18 2023, Riichi Nomi NYC hosted the Riichi Nomi Open 2023; Riichi Nomi's third annual open tournament. 120 players attend the Riichi Nomi Open 2023. The Riichi Nomi Open 2023 used the 2022 WRC rules with 3 aka dora and nagashi mangan turned on. The Riichi Nomi Open 2023 determined final placement from the players' cumulative score after after 10 hanchans; the top players were never seperated from the rest of the players, and swere cores never rest.[2]
