Tsumo 「自摸 or ツモ」 has several meanings.
- Tsumo is the act of drawing a tile.
- "Tsumo" is called to declare a win on a self-drawn tile.
- Menzenchin tsumohou, often shorted to tsumo, is a yaku obtained when a closed hand wins by self-draw.
- When looking at a mahjong hand (such as in a paifu), tsumo may refer to the tile just drawn, or a winning drawn tile.
