Extra: I'd like to keep most of the non-English stuff separate, along with the indexing column. Eventually, I want to have a bulletproof list of terms sorted in a logically presentable order, where an alphabetical order or varying sorting criteria may not be sufficient. I do want word genders present when appropriate. Commentary
Great idea. For the Japanese column, I'll just recommend using kanji. Or, perhaps, I can even modify the Template:Term_list template to include the other languages. Unfortunately, there is no way I can help with this list, 'cause of my language limitation. It's been 16 years since I ever took German. Lemme know if you need anything. A: What I need is how to use symbols and examples thereof for tables. I get a lot of crap when I google for it. As for German, I was thinking SimonN can help out with that. Senechal (talk) 05:33, 21 December 2014 (UTC)

- Heavy use of footnotes there.
Simply put:
<ref name=refname><!--footnote here, only need to do once--></ref>
Subsequent notes:
<ref name=refname />
Coupled with:
{{reflist|name=refname}}
All footnotes associated with "refname" will collect where the reflist template is located[1], such as its own section, or even just below the table. The code for reflist here[1] is the same exact as in normal Wikipedia. So, I'll expect it to have the same functionality here. KyuuAA (Talk:キュウ) 02:09, 22 December 2014 (UTC)
