This is a list of mahjong freedoms originally noted by Kyuu. Generally, these are some unwritten rules players abide by. Once written, no one is actually bound to these rules. They are simply noted out of observation.

Freedoms

  • Freedom to Play
If we wish to play, we will find a way to play.
  • Freedom to Share
We are free to share the game to any interested individuals.
  • Freedom to Associate
We are free to group with whoever we wish to group with.
  • Freedom to Self-governance
Within our groups, we conduct ourselves, as we so choose.
  • Freedom to Acknowledge
We are free to acknowledge the rules of the game, as they are set.
  • Freedom to Respect
We are free to respect the game and other players.
  • Freedom of Citizenship
We are free to abide by the rules of our citizenship.
