Iikyokusen is a game that lasts a single hand. This operates as a standard four player game, except there are no wind rotations. Only one player is given the position of dealer, and the game ends upon the conclusion of the hand.
Strategy
In this mode, seat wind placement is of importance because of the seat wind tiebreaker. At the start of the hand, the north seat is in fourth place by default, while the dealer is in first. However, the dealer is added extra pressure, because of the dealer payment when one of the other three players tsumos a hand.
Hand value is irrelevant. The speed of the hand is all that matters. The winner of the hand wins the game.
