2019 M.League season

The 2019-2020 M.League Season is the second season to M.League. All teams were required to have at least one male and one female team member. All rosters are the same, with the addition of added team members. In addition, a new team was added, the KADOKAWA Sakura Knights, who drafted a complete roster of three team members. The season opened on September 30, 2019. The regular season consists of 90 days with two hanchan each, followed by a 12-day semifinal and a 6-day final.

Roster changes

Teams were expanded to four players each, and each team is mandated to have at least one male and one female member. A draft was held on July 9, 2019. Of the eight teams, three opted to remain as three member teams.

Format

The regular season ran from September 30, 2019 to March 9, 2020. Each team played out 90 hanchan. In the regular season standings, the top six teams move on to a semifinal series to determine the top four teams into the final series.
