The anonymous editor's comment was "Nope. Give one good reason to link to this site, Scott."
The wiki provides no guidance for link inclusion or exclusion criteria other than the current links which provide example.
Accepted links include: http://osamuko.com which is a personal blog on the topic of mahjong. http://justanotherjapanesemahjongblog.blogspot.com which is a personal blog on the topic of mahjong which hasn't been updated since March 2012. Numerous links to various versions of riichi mahjong rules.
The deleted link is a mahjong portal which hosts riichi mahjong rules, is the only rules link provided which sites an authoritative source (the JPML in this case) as well as collates information about mahjong from all the major relevant RSS feeds and includes a forum for mahjong rules discussion. It is similar in style, form, and substance to multiple accepted links.
The deleted link is not only appropriate here, but would also benefit inclusion on other pages as well, to include the "Useful Mahjong information/Game rules/Rule variations" being that the deleted link is the only site listed that is dedicated to the learning and discussion of mahjong variations to which that wiki page relates.
I'm happy to help and contribute to the expansion of mahjong, my favorite game, within the friendly mahjong community when I can, and hope the editors find my input useful.
