The '''2016 Osamuko Invitational''' is an online team mahjong event hosted by [[Osamuko.com]], under the guidance of Yazphier, xGeo, and whITelion.  The event follows a format similar to the [[International Online Riichi Mahjong Competition]].  Sixteen players are selected, where four opted to be captains.  The remaining twelve participants are selected via draft, using the snake pattern.
