鳥星雨 was first introduced to mahjong through 咲-Saki- in November of 2017. He ordered his first set the next February, joined [[Chicago Area Mahjong]] in March, and founded NURM in April. Upon graduation, he moved to Asia, where he has played with [https://twitter.com/wasedakmc2014 Waseda University Mahjong Club] in Tokyo, and at [http://cafe.daum.net/richmajak Sillim Mahjong Cafe] in Seoul.
