Roster changes
Teams were expanded to four players each, and each team is mandated to have at least one male and one female member. A draft was held on July 9, 2019. Of the eight teams, three opted to remain as three member teams.
Format
The regular season ran from September 30, 2019 to March 9, 2020. Each team played out 90 hanchan. In the regular season standings, the top six teams move on to a semifinal series to determine the top four teams into the final series.
