To be honest, I have never seen that either, However, I think this might be an elaboration on how tenpai is defined as its often defined based on shape, making this an "exception" to the rule so to say. To be honest, I have never seen that either, However, I think this might be an elaboration on how tenpai is defined as its often defined based on shape, making this an "exception" to the rule so to say.
