The Riichi City Grand Prix is a specialized tournament game mode within Riichi City. It is an automated tournament, that players can sign up for. It is available on a daily basis.

Format

The tournament uses a 256-mahjong bracket. Broken down to seven stages, the top 2 from each stage move on to the next. Furthermore, a percentage of a players points move on to the next stage. Moving to the next stage, a player's starting points is adjusted based on the carry over from the previous round.

Next Starting Points = Winning Points x Stage Carry Percentage + Base Starting Points

Tonpuusen round, with renchan nashi and agari tenpai.
