I feel like we should standardize on one suit to make this more readable. Coppro (talk) 04:43, 2 October 2015 (UTC)

Then it would have to be manzu. It's the most "numeric" out of the three. Initially, I was looking to avoid the list from jp.wiki, but that's unavoidable. On my own, I ended up with the exact same numbering system. KyuuAA (Talk:キュウ) 07:36, 5 October 2015 (UTC)
Manzu makes sense. I just realized you can't use "jantou" as the indicator, btw. A hand with 4 copies of 1m or 9m does not have a jantou of that tile. Coppro (talk) 22:45, 5 October 2015 (UTC)
Oh wait, nvm, I see what you're trying to do. I don't think that's unique? 1123456678999 and 1123456789999 both have agari and jantou 1.

Duplicate configuration?

The list includes:
1-1: 1123345678999m
1-3: 1123345678999m

Unless there's something I don't understand here, these two entries look identical, where 1-1 is a copy of 1-3.
Since "Agari" is the missing tile for chuuren, and "Extra" is the tile which has an additional copy, it seems like it doesn't make sense to have a 1-1 row at all.

When you start from the Pure shape, remove a 1, and add a 3, you arrive at the 1-3 shape.
But if you start from Pure, remove a 1, and add a 1 back in, that seems like it would just return you to Pure shape again, not the 1123345678999 shape.

So if I'm not mistaken, the 1-1 row should be deleted for being incorrect/duplicate.

Missing configurations?

I believe that there are more missing configurations that are unique (not a mirror of another existing configuration) which would make the table look as follows:

Row
(Agari-Extra)
Tenpai Yakuman Chiniisou
Pure Any numbered 1-9
(same suit)
None
1-2
1-3
1-4
1-5
1-6
1-7
1-8
1-9
2-1 None
2-3
2-4
2-5
2-6
2-7
2-8
2-9
3-1 None
3-2
3-4 None
3-5 None
3-6
3-7 None
3-8 None
3-9
4-1
4-2 None
4-3 None
4-5
4-6
4-7
4-8
4-9
5-1
5-2
5-3
5-4

Unless how you're defining mirrors is broader than just simple mirrors (swap 1&9, 2&8, 3&7, 4&6) in some way?
