The 2015 Anime Central Mahjong Tournament will be the fifth edition to the tournament held at Anime Central. The convention itself is held at Rosemont, Illinois near Chicago. The tournament is hosted by the Chicago Area Mahjong Players. This year, the tournament fielded 24 players from four Midwestern mahjong clubs as well as some unaffiliated players.
Rules
Format
For the preliminary, a two hanchan result based rotation system is used. If time allows, a third hanchan may be appended to the rotation. After the preliminary, the top four overall play in a single hanchan final.
