These machi involve waits, which are nameless combinations. Instead, they use combinations of the other patterns. Often, they consist of consecutive, or closely consecutive, numbered tiles. Recognition of these patterns can produce some significantly powerful waits, which may be immune to suji and have large numbers of waiting tiles. Of course, not every single wait pattern is included here but rather various examples.
