Nobetan 「ノベタン」, or nobetanki 「延べ単騎」, is a tile wait pattern that uses two separate tanki waits. With this pattern, the tenpai hand is looking to pair either one of two tiles for completion.

The pattern generates 2 fu for the hand. Either tile type produces the pair; and thus, it counts for the waiting pattern of tanki.
